being peculiar is not a bad thing…
V beautiful women that are also very peculiar to me…
I. josephine baker – a muse for many artists, sculptures authors and painters, baker is quite the peculiar woman. a marveled beauty, she refused to perform to segregated audiences and overcame being a homeless child.
“beautiful? it’s all a question of luck. i was born with good legs. as for the rest… beautiful, no. amusing, yes.”
II. beatrix kiddo (black mamba) – named after the poisonous snake, black mamba is a deadly assassin who survived a IV year coma due to a bullet wound to the head.
“i am gonna ask you questions. and every time you don’t give me answers, i’m gonna cut something off. and I promise you, they will be things you will miss.”
III. rupaul - a makeup muse, the 1st dragqueen supermodel, and the 1st viva glam spokesperson for mac cosmetics… enough said
“look at me—a big old black man under all of this makeup, and if I can look beautiful, so can you.”
IV. mystique (raven darkhölme) - a shape shifting mutant that has reptilian like skin and is proud of her unique look. when asked why she doesn’t stay in disguise at all times in an effort to look normal, her response is simply:
“because we shouldn’t have to.”
V. madonna – viewed as a rebel due to controversial songs and videos. she embraced nudity and celebrated sexuality of women when people looked down on her for doing so which makes her peculiar.
“be strong, believe in freedom and in God, love yourself, understand your sexuality, have a sense of humor, masturbate, don’t judge people by their religion, color or sexual habits, love life and your family.”
